About this bottle Trumpeter Rose de Malbec Sparkling by Rutini Wines is a highly rated sparkling rosé from one of Argentina’s oldest wineries. The grapes come from the premier wine growing region of Mendoza in Argentina; the high altitude and free draining soils stress the vines, resulting in lower yields but more intensely flavoured fruit. This wine is made using the Traditional Method, the same method used to produce champagne. To explain the method: after the initial fermentation of the grape juice, the secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle. A time consuming and labour intensive process, this does however result in a sparkling wine with persistent fine bubbles.
