Description On September 5, 2025, President Trump signed Executive Order 14347, authorizing the Department of Defense (DoD) to use “Department of War” (DoW) as a secondary title. While not a statutory name change—which requires Congress—the order initiated an immediate rebrand in non-statutory documents, signage, and communications to reflect a stronger focus on warfighting. The DoW title is used for internal/external communications, while the administration seeks to make the change permanent. This adhesive medallion honors the commitment of the individuals who serve at the Department of War and that of America’s global interests. Minted in a brass alloy, this medallion contains rich enamel accents. Each adhesive medallion measures 3 inches, (76mm) in diameter. We have seen them stuck on windows, mirrors, locker doors, refrigerators, and motorcycle gas tanks. Peal the paper off the back and these medallions will permanently stick to most clean and hard surfaces. If you find a new use for these, send us a picture!
