The obverse depicts Saint Florian and a modern day firefighter extinguishing a blaze. The reverse bears the seal of the U.S. Coast Guard. Minted in a brass alloy, this coin is finished in antique bronze. Each coin measures 1 3/4 inch (44mm) in diameter.
